Speed Racer (live-action)Speed Racer adalah antara animation yang popular sekitar waktu persekolahan saya dulu, seiring dengan Voltron, G-Force, Saber Rider, Robotech dan lain-lain. Kesemua animation ini dulu mati2 saya ingatkan animation hasilan Amerika, tapi, rupa-rupanya hidup2 saya ditipu, kenapa?, sebab kesemuanya sebenarnya adalah anime Jepun. Hmm..

-Speed Racer is the title of an English adaptation of the Japanese anime Mach GoGoGo (マッハGoGoGo Mahha GōGōGō) which centered on automobile racing. The series is an early example of an anime becoming a successful franchise in the United States.
-The 1980s Voltron series was based on two vaguely-related Japanese anime series GoLion and Dairugger XV (both originally produced by Toei Animation & Bandai, who also produced the popular Super Sentai series in Japan). The anime was later dubbed into English and edited by the North American television production and distribution company World Events Productions.

Co., Ltd., Robotech is a story adapted with edited content and revised dialogue from the animation of three different mecha anime series: The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada.
Ini baru sebahagian yang difrancaiskan oleh Amerika, rasanya banyak lagi. Bila saya carik balik anime2 ni semua sekarang, saya prefer yang Jepun punya, walaupun saya mula mengenali mereka melalui francais Amerika, saya prefer yang Jepun kerana bagi saya disitulah originaliti yang sebenar.
Berbalik pada Speed Racer yang bakal ditayangkan sebagai live-action movie, anime mereka juga sebenarnya berasal dari Jepun, Speed Racer atau nama sebenarnya Mach GoGoGo adalah ciptaan dan kreativiti dari anime pioneer, Tatsuo Yoshida. Tatsuo Yoshida juga telah menghasilkan Gatchaman, Yattaman, Shinzo Ningen Casshan dll.
Speed Racer dari trailer yang ditunjukkan kelihatan menarik untuk saya, dan ianya penghormatan untuk Asia, khususnya Jepun kerana karya mereka diangkat oleh Barat untuk dibawa ke layar perak, walaupun saya yakin ramai lagi yang menganggap Speed Racer berasal dari Amerika.
